Chef Marco Ferrante grew up in Modena, watching his grandmother roll sfoglia by hand each Sunday. He carries that ritual into every service — not as nostalgia, but as a living commitment to the food that formed him.
Since 2009, Bella Cucina has been our way of bringing that inheritance to San Francisco. Our menu changes weekly with the Ferry Building market. Our pasta is made fresh each morning. Our wine list leans small-production Italian — growers we have visited, farmers we trust.
This is not Italian-American food. It is Italian food, made here, for you.
